Forum improvements

I hope I do not upset anybody but why is this forum not more like the Sambahttp://www.thesamba.com/vw/forum/ one with a breakdown of topics specific to the aircooled models, bug, bus , T3 etc ? and also even a classified section. As these cars become rare it is of course harder to find the pieces you might like. There's plenty of it on the Samba but I imagine there are plenty of parts kicking around in Australia too.

If all forums were the same that would be pretty boring now don't ya think?

I like this one. Everything you need is here as far as info is concerned. Although I don't post here much, I find myself visiting almost everyday to scour the pages, especially the tech stuff.

At the end of the day it's the peeps that make a forum, the ideas, the knowledge, the sharing - not the way it looks.

Just my opinion.

I think that it's more the way it works than the way it looks.

I like T3's but to find like minded posters I need to look through so much other stuff.

To have your own place in the forums makes you feel a bit more welcome, maybe??

If you are talking Vanagon T3's them we are a rear breed here in Aust.
There is a water cooled section here and the T3 world is growing.

Personally i just have several forums for different cars and aspects of them

Oh yeah.... welcome

68 T3 Notchback.

Just bought this one a few weeks ago, it's a bit of wreck but I can drive it to work if the weathers good.

I need a boot lid.

There is a Type 3 and Karmann Ghia's section? I think you will find exactly what you need here if you explore it properly...

Welcome cruiser.

T3 is Transporter Generation 3 (A type 2 to make it more confusing) Sometimes also called a Caravelle or Vanagon.

Type 3 is what you have.
