T4 aircon advice

Howdy

I have a 1995 2.5ltr T4 transporter with aircon. Works really well and is cold when moving/driving but when stationary it blows warm air. Was regassed back in Jan. Thermo fans appear to be working. Any idea's???

the climate control version? - that has a mind of its own - but should still be cold - just that it is funamentally opposed to doing anything that the driver tells it. Sounds like you'll need to take that to a specialist ...

Nah, mine is just the straight turn the dial type, no climate control here.......I thought it may have been a VW thing that's all..

Sounds like a lazy compressor mate. Works when it is spinning fast, but at idle is not circulationg enough gas.

Replace or rebuild it is the only answer.
