Can I adapt steering column switches??

What, can I, how? Want to put wipers on my steering column of the 67 Fasty. From memory the blinkers on the left have the little switch at the end of the stalk for high beam but want wipers on the right side.

Help appeciated.

1971 Type 3 Fasty - EJ20T

I love 242HP sleepers.

How many sets of lights does it take a $229k Carrera S to learn? UPDATE: Cayman S, M3, B4 now added to the list.

Hi

You can just fit a later column.

Hi

A later Type 3 would be the easiest I think, I think you couild get a Beetle one to work as well.

Yes, the later type 3s had the two stalks...
and they didn't have the small switch on the end..
the whole arm moves in and out...

I'm guessing that would be the easiest..

but nothing is impossible...

just a darn sight harder....

Beetles from around 1971 had the two stalks...
but Supers had a very short steering shaft...

cheers

Lee
