Hey guys i just worked out a nice set of gear ratios but am a bit worried about first gear, on the excel dyno program it doesnt change my ET much from
my last arrangement but will put 2nd to 4th nice and close together. please give me your 2 cents.

tall first will be always hard on the clutch for street driving...........?
what size clutch do you run?
will you be getting the most out of the subies power only dropping rpm to 5000?

Yes that first gear is too tall, even with the 4.57 diff ratio.
The other thing to observe is that the gaps between each gear get larger as you up-shift.
You want these to get progressivley smaller.
