[FS - TAS] My 67 Splitty $9500ono SOLD
Selling my 67 Splitscreen, price is $9500ono,
My number is 0448352413 after 4pm,
Its been listed on Carsales.
Heres a link, and here is some more pictures,
http://www.carsales.com.au/used-cars/VOLKSWAGEN/TRANSPORTER_KOMBI/private-res...
1300c, runs well, (Originally a 1500cc but seized up 25 years ago)
Good gearbox and reduction hubs,
Has all globes and lights work, (Except indicators as i need to fit new flasher unit)
Chassis underneath is perfect, with the original paint, has no rust,
Front seat bottoms need recovering (Covered in photo by seatcover.)
Has rust on the lhs wheel arch near the cargo floor, battery tray and pinholes near the accelerator pedal,
small amount ground out in the nose cone and filled and has had a hit on the RHS door where a tree has hit it. Door was replaced (30 years ago?)
but a little dented inside as you will see in the photo. Outside is ok. Also a few little dents in the roof but what do you expect for a 41 year old
car.
It has had a recent paintjob and although not perfect, it looks quite presentable all round.
She has the original Jacks and wheel remover, and comes with a instruction manuel from a 1956 Kombi. (45 or so pages.)
Also for the starter Volkswagen enthusiast, a must have book, How To Keep Your Volkswagen Alive For The Complete Idiot. (A must have and we use all
the time)
If there is anything i have missed or any other questions please do not hesitate to ask.
If you reply please reply to my other email, empideluxe@hotmail.com so i can view my emails at school etc.
Kind Regards, William (Bill) Holmes.

Is the old bloke you go it off for $100 still getting a cut? It would be nice, considering he sold it to you thinking this was going to be your first
car when you got your license. He was doing you a favour... now it's your turn to do him one....

I take it the sill under the double doors is wavy like that cause it's fulla bog? Maybe litty bitty rusty? The rust repairs on the front floor are tastful too, why weld when you can whack a couple of pop rivets in
and shebe right?

any splonk onto the car and i mentioned the rusted areas to those who enquired on it.

Geeez, some people need to have a hard look in the mirror. None of their business, what it was bought for and what it was then sold for.
If I bought my Fasty for $500, cleaned it up using all my own labour and time and then sold it for $5000, have I ripped off the people I bought it
from, NO?
Right place right time I say............can he sleep at night, yes probably because he has been able to shove a few extra thousand $$$ under the
matress. Well done
1971 Type 3 Fasty - EJ20T
I love 242HP sleepers.
How many sets of lights does it take a $229k Carrera S to learn?
UPDATE: Cayman S, M3, B4 now added to the list.

I think he means bog/body filler, look at the wavy sill near the bottom at the double doors. He say's he didn't bog it but somebody surely
did................or maybe he drove over something hot and it
melted a bit?
