all due repect mate, if you want that much cash you'd better be a lot more forth coming with details. ie, engine/tranny/interior etc. all I see is a clean square with fuchs and nice paint job. tell us why it's worth $28k.

BTW, couldn't find it on Aust or US ebays.

Yes Pete thats my point as well, whats the harm in a buyer knowing what colour car they are buying? Id be more than happy for someone to copy a colur I had chosen.

It was on Ebay prior with one bid that stayed at A$18k starting price so atleast one person thinks its worth that much.

Like to see this thing close up though.

I think he means that if you build a car to this standard it will cost around $56K(I assume this is including the initial purchase cost of the car and all materials).
Its not hard to go through $$$ on a show car.

I am happy to inform all of you (especially the naysayers) that the car is sold and is at a new loving home in NSW.
I got what I wanted for it and the guy is more than happy with his new toy.

Cheers
C

Congrats on the sale!:cool::tu:

Seen that car at DOVW many times and I can only dream that mine left the factory in that condition.
Impossible to find fault with any work coming out of the Volkommen factory and their team of builders.

It was a custom mix made by Vollkommen Art. I have no clue as to the codes - there aren't any.
We just decided on a shade of gray and played around until we were happy with it.
Maybe start with one of the stock gray's that VW used and play around with it. The wagon was more of a brown gray than a blue gray.

We made the colour ourselves, so there is no code.

Congrats. Well done. A new benchmark I would think. There are buyers for quality and art.

If I could get a decent trade in on the wife, I'd have brought that car in an instant!!

Cars that come out of the Volkommen factory really show the true customising potential of the type 3 breed. Type 3 owners already knew their cars were cool and special, it just took a bit more to convince the non believers amongst us...

She's older than me and I am an old fart so probably an early. Low mileage. Only driven on Sundays by an old man. Never thrashed. Factroy air bags and aftermarket GPS (Womans intuition I think it's called). Will trade for newer sportier model:lol:

All reasonable offers considered. No tyre kickers or test pilots please:ninja::lol:
