Help please - narrowed beam etc..
Ok, so if i want my beetle sitting as low as i can go, whilst still being reasonable.
What's the best way to do this.
Something whereby I could adjust the suspension (i.e. raise it to 100mm for NSW rego etc)
Then drop it back down for the other 364 days, lol
What's the best way to do this (considering I don't want to have to deal with the issues experienced once the camber of the rear wheels is
altered.)
I was thinkin dropped spindles
maybe a narrowed beam - not sure how much by though??
oh and i'd love to have wide wheels, like wide wide.
so maybe fiberglass guards aswell, front and back.
also different wheels sizes, front vs. back ??

first pic reminded me of my first bug 
couldnt find a good pic with white walls, eyelids and roof rack but this will do.
first pic i think would be a 2" narrowed beam and 1 spline in the rear.
second pic looks like 6"+ narrowed beam and 2+ spline in the rear.
third pic i think would be 2" maybe 3" narrowed beam to tuck those brms and stock height in the rear?.
would depend on what brakes they are running etc. is hard to say if the beams are simply adjustable/ with dropped spindles or both. if you want it low
irrespective of year you will want to run an adjustable beam ( adjustable + - 2.5") with dropped spindles ( - 2.5") = potentially 2.5"-5" drop
from stock.
its further difficult to give you any help not knowing what year beetle you have. try using the search feature on here. you will find the advice you
seek many times over for a variety of different applications and looks. and members rides to see what other people have done.
i personally like to do some research first to give me an idea of what is typically done and then seek recommendations and advice as to then ask a
specific question ie: i want to run 8" rear rims under stock gaurds on its dick... how? and not so broad.

Your beetle's awsome 
I currently own a '72 Superbug
but i'm selling it, as it's pristinely original, and don't really want to mess with that.
I plan on purchasing another one i can modify to my hearts content.
I definately wouldn't go any younger than that, as i can't stand plastic dashes.
So maybe older if not the same year.

Mine....
4" beam with drop spindles
1.5 clicks in the rear.... Its complicated to explain that, but basically it a combination of inner and outer splines...
