Is it a 3 door or a 5 door?

If it has a 16v engine its an import which is the best engine u can get even used these days in Seats and VW's

If its in good nick around the $6k mark if its an import.

If its an Aussie Mk2 i wouldnt buy it they only came in 5 door and a 1.8 8 valve which isnt really a gTI but were badged that way in Australia :(

Hi Baz my mate is selling his original Mk2 GTI which has won numerous awards for best Golf

MkII is up for sale. 1985 3dr GTI.
Genuine UK private import. Multi trophy winner, two magazine appearances. 154000 miles.
Engine rebuilt in 04 with balanced bottom end, flowed and ported top end. Neuspeed 268 cam and adjustable cam gear fitted, but have the original G grind cam and gear. Only done about 10,000 miles since rebuild. Just serviced, with oil changed every 5000kms.
Koni Yellow and H&R springs, with original springs in box. New top strut mounts.
Flawless interior. Seats retrimmed in original material in 03. Old seat covers in box.
Currently on BBS RS splits with new outer lips. 15x6.5 ET 32. Two arent true. I have the original P-Slots refurbed in the garage.
Alpine iPod compatible stereo.
Sad to see it go.

$9K with BBS, $8.5 without.

Also parting out Momo steering wheel and MkI/II boss kit. $150
