Hi

I used own one of these many years ago, the performance and vehicle dynamics of these cars would put many modern cars to shame. Mine was Citrus red as well. Good luck with the sale.

Bewdy, you sell cars for a living? Putting "Sort after" and "Must sell", "Classic" and ""First to see will buy" help does it? I can't give one of these things away and am going to have to crush it to clean the yard up. Bewdy, sort after, ripper.:dork:

I drove a number of '76/'77 Passats for many years - great cars.
I tried to buy a '77 Passat liftback coupe many years ago but it was too expensive.

I think the instrument panel has been replaced - a TS should have a tacho (from memory).

Apologies from stupid! The TS tacho should have reached out and smacked me in the head.

The liftback, I spoke of, had a Tacho in the RHS dial of the panel.

Sorry

I had one of those, with a Golde sunroof too!!Great car, 90hp 1500, factory recaro's, last of the pre pollution cars. Always though the passats handled better than the golfs.

Tas Transport website says the Tassie rego ran out in November 2006. Also says it's a '74. Is it registered/roadworthy?

probably had the speedo replaced, unless it is a 5 digit odometer(6 digit units came in 76, didn't they?)they weren't to reliable as they had nylon gears which cracked prematurely. Given the fragile nature of the dash and seats, it looks more like 20000 km to me.
