JEEP hit by Lightning strike in US car park
Here are some pics of a Jeep sitting in a car park in the USA last month when it was struck by Lightning..

Heh - yeah - that'd majorly suck.
Though, I wonder what happens if lightning strikes say big mining/construction truck that DOESN'T burst into flames ???

You wouldn't want to be hit by one of those tyres when a truck goes off!! Surely the vehicle would need to be earthed to the ground by something to
get hit or else wouldn't it be happening more frequently? Many years ago I saw lightning actually bounce off of the roof of a car in front of me and
then to the ground when driving through rain in England. The car had a fibreglass roof so I don't know if that had anything to do with it?
