Help!

Hi guys,
strictly speaking this probably isn't the right place for this but my car won't start!
73 superbug, I drove it last night to college (about 30 mins), parked it and when I came back just over an hour later it wouldn't start. I have electricals but absolutely nothing when trying to start it, don't even hear any clicking.

Anyone have any siggestions what it could be?
I'm going to go back today and see if there is any change but i'm not hopeful.

Check and make sure the ignition wire hasn't fallen off the starter solenoid (small wire) or take a few friends and try bump starting it.

Check to see if the clamps on the battery terminals are tight, often everything works but they just don't start.
This is because the clamp is not making a good enough contact to provide enough power to turn over the starter.

If all fails roll start it and take it home out of harms way.

Problem Solved

Couldn't jump start it and it was parked nose to kerb on a road with quite a steep cambre so I had it taken on a truck to my mechanic and it turns out that the ignition switch has died.
He's going to install a push button for me.

Thanx to everyone for your helpful suggestions.

Don't put a push button in that's bodgy just buy a new one from Vintage or Classic and get it put in heaps cheap and even comes with a new key.
