Cleaning up case?

Okies i woke up this morning with a strange and wondrous idea. I'm at the stage of cleaning the case so i can check it out and see if it can be used again, BUT could i put the case in a dish washer? would it clean? would the dishwasher heaters lite the magnesium?

Any info anyone?

Hats off to you Eraser, you've got balls washing it in the kitchen dishwasher i thought you might have had an old diswasher in the shed.

You must have balls the size of coconuts. My misses would destroy me, saying thatwe are looking at getting a new dishwasher, might have to hook the old one up in the shed.

Did you get the idea from the old SuperCheap Auto ad on telly? Where old matey washes his rocker covers?
