engine related question

ok, 1300 engine. Failing to run on #2 and #4 cylinders.
2 rear cylinders (back of vehicle) for some reason.

Have checked valve clearences, have checked plug gaps, there is spark there. Leads are new. Cap looks to be ok.

What are compressions ment to be?

Any ideas?

sounds like the leeds are on the wrong way around as per above

What did you do to the engine before this started to happen

the compression is approx 120 to around 140psi and as long as all 4 are approx close it will be good if one was only 60psi and the others were 130 psi then u have problems

Since ive had the car i've changed plugs and leads.
I've checked leads 3 times. all correct, firing order is correct. no evidence of damage to the dizzy cap.
rotor button is good. Ive also cleaned the carby.

Other than that its still original.... :S
