For the last time ...
Hey all,
I just had to share some exciting news! After this weekend my house will finally be ready for sale! I purchased it about 3 and a half years ago with
the intent to restore and renovate. It's a Queenslander over 100 years old, so you can imagine alot of hard work, time, money and blood sweat &
tears (mostly my tears lol) has been invested into transforming my place from what it was, to what it is now. These past few years have certainly been
a rollercoaster, it's strange how life can throw random curve balls at you which completely change everything. I can't complain though, I am only
stronger & wiser because of it.
... So for one of the last times I am just about to head over there (on my saturday night mind you *sniff sniff*) ... to continue cleaning, touching
up paint, organising my furniture etc. Sounds fun doesn't it!? lol I'm just glad this is it, finally this chapter in my life is done and I can move
forward onto bigger and better things. The best part is I will finally have the time to do the things I've been longing to do! This house has
restricted me in a few ways over the past 2 years, I discovered it's rather difficult to balance full time work/those important ppl in your life/gym
and attempt to have a social life in amongst all of this. I will definately be making up for lost time! So to all my beautiful people out there, hope
you like being smothered!
Accomodation wise I am sorted for the moment, I've moved back in with family which should be interesting to say the least hehe. Although, I am
already thinking of what to do in the next year or two .. purchase a unit in the city, buy in the burbs or purchase acreage halfway between the switch
& brisbane and build my dream house? I can't justify renting off someone you don't know any paying their mortgage! I guess time will tell, I
think I will be happy to have atleast a year free with no mortgage or debt.
So I will be organsing to get atleast 4 appraisels done in the next week or so & then put it up for sale. Already I have agents knocking on my
door, leaving notes in the letterbox wanting to come and see it. I have no idea how they know I'm selling it!
I will post some 'before' pics soon from when I first purchased the house in 2005. And once the house is all prettied up I will take some recent
piccys and post them so you can all have a squiz if you like
Until then, ciao x

Gotta say i don`t mind qlder homes. The bigger the better. And those gables! The more, the merrier. If i could i`d stick one on my property out Dalby
way but then i nor anyone would see it as its pure bushland & i don`t want to clear too many trees. Tuff choice - dream home or trees? Trees. Well
good luck with your sale.cheers

thanx thugbug & h, I can't wait for the fun to begin and I'm not wasting any time either lol This coming Friday I'm staying in the city, going
to my Award's Night for work and partying in the Valley afterwards. I haven't really consumed alot of alcohol since about April so should be a very
interesting night. I'd rather trees .. but if i eventually buy 3+ acres I don't think I'll need to clear a huge amount of them to build
And thanx rocknrob, pity you're a year until finishing but stick with it and it will be well worth it! I'll party just a little harder for you
