Anyone know the owner of a beetle thats matt black,red flames and moonies in Adelaide? I gave him my card at traffic lights on South road today.Just

Was he a punk looking guy? Mohawk and tats? Did it have crazy custom front lights and really wide rear tyres?
If so, he's not in the VW scene, just a cool guy with a cool car who turns up occasionally.

I saw him (the punk with the matt black) at one of the Day of VWs down in glenelg a year or two back, his attitude just seemed to offend a few people
(my opinion not meaning to offend).

Didnt have a mohawk,didnt see any tatts.Mid 20's guy i rekn.Only spoke to him in traffic briefly.
I may not need him now as i may have bought my first VW from this forum,a 63 beetle.Will advise tomorrow if its a done deal.Thanks for the replies

Nup,wasnt that one.It was matt black with red flames and a red flash down the side.Had moonies and stickers on the side windows.
Would be classed as a rat i spose.
I'm hoping to put a deposit tomorrow on a 63 beetle thats in the for sale section.Fingers crossed

I often see his car parked at a house around the corner from me at Hillcrest.
not sure if he lives there, but his car is there a bit.
hope I'm not getting him in trouble for being somewhere he shouldn't be.
Most people seem normal, till you get to know them.

I reckon you saw Ramsey's old Fatty. Just had a look through my files and I only found this pic.
Hand painted red flash and flame, lots of stickers on windows, never seen it with moon discs though??!!?? Had red painted rims. He sold it on a while
ago, unsure who to.
Very, Very cool car, but i reckon that Matt black was hiding some serious nastiness.
