Nessie has surfaced! 65 Notch.
Yep, I got my 65 Notch today. Ive named her Nessie. Mainly because she had been parked under a
tree for a while and had a layer of green mould on her! She was last registered in 2003.
Anyway, I spent this arvo cleaning her up and having a good poke around, hoovering and prodding
were the order of the day.
I found the usual spots for the dreaded rust living up to their reputation, but all in all its
not too much.
The most amusing points I found on my tour de Nessie were the rubber glove sealing off the petrol
tank breather, and the white painted garden hose beng used as fender beading!
So.. here are some pics. Im aiming to get her on the road in some guise for Dubs in Feb next
year, on my budget it might be streching it, but you have to have goals dont you. That gives me
four and a half months, gulp.
First step is removing the rust.
Very Clean! Just got to get the crap out of there now.
No surprises here either, nice.

Looks fairly solid. Good basis for a resurection. Good luck
If you can't fix it with a hammer,
you have an electrical problem....
