obtaining a rag clip is the hard part - they pop up every now and again but are becoming somewhat sought after in oz and therefore fetching high
prices ie: for a complete 2 fold rag clip from a +62? i think beetle you'll look at $1500aud or thereabouts. maybe more? for a genuine golde clip.
the britax style i think are becoming equally as difficult to find but are typically cheaper for a complete kit to suit late bugs at anywhere from
$400 to $600... different to the original golde style. i believe they not only lack reinforcing, is argued both for and against that they are prone to
leaking and that they were never a factory option? (i may stand corrected on that - i thought they were an aftermarket accessory avail to a variety of
cars) in saying that they still do the job and can look the goods, especially so in a later model like yours (can try robnjo or stenguns - from memory
they had some for sale a while back? maybe not)
try a WTB post in parts for sale and you never know....
hope that is of some help. goodluck

probably depends upon where you go as to what it will cost to install.
i currently have a britax one in my oval... next year as part of a respray it will have a golde clip installed, the material can be replaced also ,
colour changed etc.
see.... air and water do mix

You are better off buying one with it already in there
Becker sold a REAL good 61 body with a Golde roof in it for $2k ish 2 shoot outs ago
That sweet sea blue one from Lalor Park that ended up in tassie was a driver and was like $5 or 6k
Considering a clip is goint to cost $1k + repair + install these were good buying
Futue te ipsum!!!

ive had a car with a britax and loved it
when it was shut u wouldnt even know it was there
upholstered inside with headliner material and no flapping, wind or water leaks just as good as an original golde
the wind deflector was broken off but it still wasnt to blustery inside till u got over 100
that said tho i personally think fabric rags dont suit late models at all but if that what floats ya boat
ive seen a few bugs have rags removed and filled in and its not a small job
