Does anyone know of a successful 911 head conversion on a TIV done in Australia?

Havent seen it done, but being that the 911 Heads have overhead camshafts, that will take some engineering like Iswinkels was doing fitting WRX heads
to a type 1.

Have you looked at the DRD heads for T IV motors as an alternative?

Aichelseder, Robert and Heinrich. They have a website but for the life of me I couldn't find it on google. They race two 1303s in autocross in
Germany. One has 911 heads on it.

 here it is http://www.vw1303s.at

 They are pretty serious...

maybe see if Russ wants to sell the whole motor.

be a cheaper and easier way to get round a lot of fabrication. you also know that the motor is good for whatever you want to do with it. Russ was
doing 10 sec quarters on this setup if memory serves me correctly.....then driving the car home up the motorway a few hours.

Pete now thats what I call a true street drag car, not like all these street registered vehicles at WSID that turn up on flat trays!

 Here are the two threads:

Unfortunately many photos are now gone and the project appears to have faltered. Still, gives some idea of the engineering involved.

thanks managed to find three images amongst the two threads you posted. Has anyone saved any images or can repost them? It would be great to hear
whether there has been any progression the motor or has it not had any further work in the past 2 years?

Michel, Buy Iswinkles motor off him and finish that.

GTMac, speaking of which, when the heck has your car been at WSID recently?
it's all very well to bag people who trailer there cars there, but at least the cars got there and had a go....and speaking from experience,
there's a lot to be said for having a trailer for if something breaks. It allows you to drive harder without worrying about getting home.
