How can you be sure????
Well how can you be sure it is the regulator and not the generator that is faulty???????
Just have to get this right. So trying to understand:jesus
p.s. we are not generating power and light goes out with a push on a thingy in the regulator

Take off your fan belt, then undo the wires to the generator, get some jumper leads and a battery, hook the leads up to the battery, and put the
negative lead to the body of the generator and the positive lead to the + or DF terminal of the generator.
It should "motor" ,spin all on it's own if the generator is ok that is.

Chris this is me being serious now
I am having shite gennie probs
If it doesn't polorise then it is the generator right????
or can it still be the regulator.
Hmmm, don't have my maual down here. Well the red light does go out of you push down on one of the bladey things inside of the regulator, so
could it be regulator.
But if the generator doesn't polarise???? as in the geneator shaft thing turning/spin....
