What year is this Chassis Number?
Hi All,
Can you tell me a good reference point for Aussie Chassis Numbers. Recently got this beetle and want to verfiy year.
Chassis Number appears to be 1535443
Body Numebr c2741
Any help appreciated.

Hey thanks for reply's. I deliberatley didn't say if it was oval or big window to sway any answers. I think the second didgit could be a '6'. And
yes it is big window with semaphores.
Any ideas on year? I was thinking 58 but could be 57 maybe???????
