Best news I've had all week!

I dropped my baby off in the very capable hands of Ross Preen this morning and headed up to the RTA to ask them a few questions and I have found out that I do not need an engineers certificate for her! There won't be any trouble registering her as they already have record of her being a convertable! YAY! So we'll see what Ross can do then take her to an auto electrician then the only prob I will have will be the soft top. Don't know what I'll do there but I'll tackle that problem when i get to it. :)

I got the old soft top but it's pretty stuffed. Got all the frame and everything. It's a start. :)

I saw an auto trimmer about some repairs on mine and nothing is a problem with something for them to work from.
You are laughing.
Some pieces of material cost more than others but last a lot longer. The only decision what is your budget.
Put the bucks and time into making sure it's riunning as good as it can.
Good luck.

Thanks guys :)

I'm getting more and more excited as every step is getting me closer to being on the road. Not long now I don't reckon!

I've found a bloke in Bathurst who reckons he can do the soft top for between $800 and $1100. I was hoping I'd find somewhere in Orange but after calling every place in the phonebook I came up with nothing.

I've got a mate who's an auto electrician coming over this week to fix what he can here at home and then off to the shop for anything he can't. After that it's off for a Bluey and we'll see how we go from there. SO excited! :D

Kinda got put on hold for a week or two. I ended up in hospital and then on strict bed rest when they finally let me come home. First thing Monday I'll be back into it again. :)
