blow through turbo setup
Hi
I have a question regarding setting up a blow through turbo
What i've been thinking about is using a Garrett t25 (which i have) on a 1776 with the cb performance fuel injected end castings for efi.
What i want to know is if it would be possible to use 2 small throttle bodies (say diahatsu bodies) between the end of the end castings and the inlet
manifold
or a single big throttle body between the turbo and inlet manifold
Was going to use the turbo draw through with a sidedraft dellorto but unsure if the turbo has the carbon seal in it
Is there any way of telling if it has a carbon seal without spending big dollars as it was rebuilt a few years ago by GCG and they can't tell me what
seal is in it.
As far as i know pre 1990 t25's had the carbon seal and after with the dynamic seal. The turbo came off an et pulsar 84 model
Any info would be greatly appreciated

Go single throttle body, its so much simpler and is easier to tune. Especially when you go efi and are tuning with a MAP sensor. Less
complicated=good.
I'd do way with the CB end castings, as the seals never hold boost properly. The ultimate method is bolt together flanges. Have all your welding
done to finish the intake off and either use bolt together flanges with loctite ultra-grey on the joins, or use silicon hose and bolt on clamps (not
the screw on ones).
I prefer blow through as you can run a charge cooler/intercooler as well. Draw thru is so 70's. I think you'll find the pulsar turbo will not have a
seal too, or if it is, it will be long since stuffed as the et pulsar's are getting pretty long in the tooth now. Should be pretty responsive on a
1776 though, good match for a stock cam engine that wont rev past 5500 or so.
