Mechanic In Sutherland Shire
Hey All,
I'm pretty new to this website. but i have 1974 VW beetle my mechanic has recently closed down shop and now i need to find a new mechanic.
I have gone to a Vw specialist in my area but he cant seem to do much right. I have abit of a problem with the fuel line and the car seems to break
down when its too hot.
I have taken it to him around 4 times over the space of 6months he says its fixed, I pay then it does it again. He seems to not be able to fix it. I
just want it fixed!!
Im looking for a good mechanic that knows what hes doing with VWs. I have had the car for over 7 yrs so i know the car is pretty good.
Any advice on where I could take it? (in the shire would be a preference). Or advice how it can be fixed or something.. Im not very mechanically
minded though..
Thanks heaps!! |

check all the fuel filters, this sounds a bit like the problem I had and couldn't solve for ages, turned out that though the filter had fuel in it
and it went ok after a while it stoped, new fuel filter and no more problems.
I dream of a day when a chicken can cross a road without being asked for it's motive!
