I need the left side back cover that bolts to the engine block. I smashed the current doing this...

It's the same as an EJ20 DOHC of the same age. There are variances in the head shape with the changes in design and the rear cover changes to suit. I would just buy a new one from subaru, most wreckers want the same money as new for them anyway because they are so commonly damaged in accidents.
