New Race complex in Wyong?

Pretty amazing after all these years of small tracks closing down that Lakeside would open its doors and Wyong Council would consider building a new one. They probably think it will be as cheap as throwing down some hotmix.

If you're interested in motorpsort you can go online and fill out a survey to add some support.

I think this is great. there is a huge youth population in that part of the coast that could do with a track and driver training faciliities. A drag strip is a no brainer too. I reckon it would be in use every weekend. This is especially important as Oran Pk closes this year.

Yes, this is a great proposal. It actually has had quite a deal of input from other forums also , rexnet evolution oz etc, with a number of professionally prepared justifications put forward by some of their members.

As a central coast resident, I am all for it, lets get behind it!

Cheers

I submitted a letter of support to the council in July and they have been sending regular updates

Looks like the circuit racing would be more supported than Drag racing however i dont think its been junked as yet

Interesting reading and sumaries of the councils survey Page 55 to 75
