the signs well said :tu:

It shits me how unco some drivers can be. Its a friggen circus on the roads near my neck of the woods, and the daily driver is so perforated everywhere from nicks and dints from inconsiderate pricks that you get to the point where you wanna blow up the whole town and start fresh.

Hate it when that happens. Last year someone bent the chrome bumper on my Golf - don't know who or even where it happpened. Those bumpers are getting pretty rare - a good pair is $200-$400. (But I got a decent one cheap from a friendly VWW member).

Hopefully in cases like these what goes around comes around.

Cheers.

Doing a runner is pretty tempting though, especially if you are low on cash.

Despite being from Warilla I'm not really a bad person. But when I was at uni and I reversed into another car I have to confess that I looked around wondering if anyone had seen me. i dont think they did but I drove back into my parking space and started to write a note. While writing I did think about leaving a blank piece of paper. The grief I got in return from both the other party and my insurance company wasnt really worth it, but hopefully karma will head my way some day. I've had 3 attempted car thefts happen to me in the 5-6 years since then so my faith in karma isnt too strong anymore.

few day old statesman, parked at our local, after leaving there the bonnet required extensive paint and repairs, as well as the front drivers guard.... lets just say after i found out who did it, i found them and we had a "discussion"

FROM ONE OF MY PREVIOUS POSTS
What to do next time. I was reversing in a very crowded parking area on private property at my work place, no one around but thought I may have gone a bit closer than I intended to go to another vehicle, thought I'd better get out and check and sure enough, a very slight mark on the front bumper of the other car and a smaller mark on my back bumper (you can imagine how slight when I wasn't even sure the two cars had touched) so I went looking for the owner, took a while to track them down as I didn't know who owned it, owner went balistic before they even saw what the damage was, I got a quote from one of those blokes who comes and fixes small marks $150 he comes to you and I have seen his work before, can't even pick it from the original areas. Not good enough for this jerk, wants it done in a "real panelshop". a cash deal with the panel shop and I'm $400 lighter in the vwallet, considerably more if it went through the books. Made me realise why others hit and run.

I dream of a day when a chicken can cross a road without being asked for it's motive!
