Just found this old paper clipping!

Classic!

There's an annual custom car event in the UK called Run To The Sun. Back in the early 90's it was more VW's than other customs though. You can imagine how surprised i was to open the paper and find my heap as the main photo!
Probably felt sorry for me.. lol
Think this was 1992 or 1993

i loved run to the sun, but they certainly knew how to rip you off! great show, great cars, i loved the surf too!!
