Nutsert Tool ???


Im looking for a nutsert tool,looks like a pop rivet gun???,anyone got one they want to sell??? cheers shane.

Sell my nutsert tool? Are you crazy? I bought mine at the local Total Tools shop,Fascor brand it does M4,M5&M6 for $80 very sturdy and a bargain at that price IMO.

I was told by a tool shop near work that they can order me one in at a cost of $60-$90,i only need to do 2 nutserts with it so hopefully someone has a second hand one they dont want????

How desperate are you and what size nutsert are you after. I can lend you one but I'm at Nth Richmond. Still wouldn't cost $80 for petrol!

Im not desperate for one yet,i have 6mm nutserts,i will see how i go trying to put one in without the tool??? i might still take you up on your offer DH cheers shane.

If you only have 2 Nutserts to do, you could set them using a H/T bolt (8.8 or cap screw). Use a thick flat washer under the head, and a bit of moly grease on the thread. Don't tighten the bolt too much as you may strip the thread. God luck. Greg
