Is $28 for a brand new steering damper delivered to my door cheap?

Bought it for $9.99 US with $15 AUD postage from the states on ebay. so a total of $28ish after conversion rates.

Gabriel Shock Co. brand, brand new, never opened box, for bug/ghia/thing. and it was a legit sale, very good reputation figures from seller.

along with new shifter couple kit delivered $30 AUD, type 3 to type 1 dipstick adapter for $25 AUD delivered, new rubber OEM NOS front gearbox mount from up north qld for $5.50.... (and the seller, a trike shop, still has 6 left...)

i neva been in an Australian dub shop yet... i was tempted a few months back. but it just seems alright on ebay, everywhere else just seams too exy when i take the slightest glance of anything on the home front. Is it good? is it bad?. Anyone else got any ripper deal tales ?

Just scored a new VDO *C oil temp gauge from US Egay for $5 + $11 shipping. I though that was a killer deal.
Ebay can be pretty good for parts if you know what your looking at and how much its worth. But I use the VW part places prob a lot more.
