Yeah i love working on it, since i bought the car ive changed its oil etc as well as both mum and dads cars. For it to get painted i took it all apart, all that stayed in was the engine, trans and steering wheel, removing all the other stuff was fun, so was putting it all together.


My plans arent really for this bug cause it has a amount of rust, i am looking for a late model super to put a subi into and yeah somethig that will go fas and be safe.

LOL if you thought taking that apart and back together was fun wait till you get a L Bug dash to put back together.... Hassle lol

Nice straight 64 bug same colour as my 65 Gulf Blue, same trim as mine had originally as well. Here is mine before and after. I thought that brown trim just had to go! What was Volkswagen thinking in 1964/65?
