Shock mounts rear

When converting oval pan to later model rear end, box and tubes and hubs, what do you do about the shock mounts?

I understand that the oval mount sits vertical and where it bolts on is straight, where as the later model pans and hubs bolt on at an angle.

Who has done the conversion and knows about this?

Thanks

It's not a problem at all, shock body turns on shaft so no alignment issue.

I think you will find the trailing arms foul on the chassis

What trailing arms??? Do you mean spring plates? If so no they wont be a problem. If you mean Diagonal trailing arms, well he never said he was fitting IRS, just later model "box, tubes and hubs".

Yeah not going IRS,
Another question is, for the springplates, the torsion bar covers, i have the covers with the cutouts, yet the floorpan is a round smooth donut, is it ok to use round donut inner rubber, and the knobbly outer rubbers? Or should they be matching?

Thanks

No problem to have the mix. Some models are exactly that stock. Just order the correct size inside hole depending where used.

Yes,
I've seen that some use the inner on one side as the outer on the other...
