Boot and bonnet for beetle Plus other stuff being added
No money but will swap for anything below. Need for 71 Beetle :
Standard horn as i have removed air horns
Steering wheel
button for handbrake
New interior light
2 X Chrome ends for exhaust
For my 74 Kombi I need a
Steering wheel and a petrol cap Left it unattended at petrol station for 5 minutes!
Beetle (View here http://forums.aussieveedubbers.com/viewtopic.php?tid=75241&page=1#pid699954 ).
Have removed the decal shown on the boot lid by the way and boot itself is fairly poor condition, so you get boot without decal Only bought them from
Ebay for those, and bought bonnet thinking it had the strip. lol
Will consider other swaps to and even hours labour with my project.
Pick up is Blacktown area

I have a decklid with louvers that will let some air in!, a decklid badge (volkswagen) - also have an "L" badge whcih i didnt picture that i can
check in for $5
I have a bonnet strip but its off an L-bug, so i think that it may be different. What year car is it going on? (is it a flat or curved screen?)??

Its a 71 Colonel with the flat screen. Here is a picture if helps
Not sure what a decklid badge is? Do you mean the round VW one on Bonnet. I would be interested in L for 5 though and the strip.

David S or L will fit the 2 holes,
you need S if you want to be technically correct
re the hood strip you need one off a superbug or Lbug - there the same length
unlike one from a standard hood like the one you bought wont fit as there too long
ive got an S badge somewhere but would have to dig around for it

Ok adding to list
# Front bumper for beetle (would only be good if you bog and paint too many dents in bend where it hit a tree (can see it in firtst picture)
# Back bumper for Beetle (very straight but does show rust
# Kombi badge as pictured above
# Boot and bonnet as pictured
Its a job lot and will consider any swap at all. But would really like a Kombi steering wheel in good nick, and I need a Kombi petrol cap.

Milestone not sure what you mean re carbs? Beetle has a single and Kombi Twin. But dont think I have any. Though I may have a spare set for a Kombi
in my many crates under the house.

Beetle side mirror. Its not the original as thats why it has been removed, as I now have original. But it is the Californian, for those with that
style of bug. Will post a pic if any interest but can see a pic of it here when was on car http://forums.aussieveedubbers.com/viewtopic.php?tid=76152
