Dub on Air

Well I have had an old '58 beetle for about 10 years now just gathering dust in the old shed so I thought in tradition of all the custom car shows I might throw it on bags.

Now this looked easier than first anticipated, however I am starting to get my head around it all. Seeing I haven't seen any posts on this I would start a little build thread of my own.

Here is the pan getting the back end ready for the rear bags.

Will do, working on the rear bag arms tonight. Front bags coming from the states as we speak. So hopefully do the front beam next week.

So far so good.

Have ordered 6mm steel and bar for rear arms (Did not have enough at home), front beam steel has been ordered (4 inch narrower) and front bags should be here from US in two to 3 days.

Pics will come soon once there is some more progress. I will have templates for all brackets on CAD as they are being laser cut this week.

Thought I should put up something as the Laser is going off tap with a really big job so the brackets have been put off for a couple of weeks.

Here is some of the equipment that is going into the bug.
