URGENTLY NEEDED: smooth torsion bar bushing

I URGENTLY need a smooth bushing for my buggy torsion bars... the cover on the end of the torsion bar has the "knobbly" bits on it, but the internal bushing surface doesn't. I've got some nolathane knobbly ones for the outside, but can't find smooth ones...I've tried a few places, and been told you can't get them :(

I urgently need one for each side (supposed to be racing next weekend).... if someone has either new ones, or some decent second hand ones that will get me by for the moment, please let me know ASAP. Will pay for express postage too.

Thanks,

Chris

Why bother posting a request on Aussieveedubbers why not just call vintage in the first place as this seems to be the general consensus.A lotrof us on the forum go out of our way to try to help the members only to then be told vintage are supplying them.i find his offensive because why ask for help if the obvious is going to happen, why should we try to help.I have spoken to another supplier who has had the same experience and consequently will not support various VW events. Hi Les,

my apologies if I have offended you by my actions, this was not my intention (far from it). Had I known about Vintage, I would have tried them prior to posting. I only knew of 3 suppliers, none of whom had the parts (and could not get them). Wherever possible, I support those members of the forums, before going to businesses, and I am a member of other forums, and actively try to help other members myself. I understand your frustration, as I have had the same things happen to me. However, in this particular circumstance, I did not have the luxury of time, so ordered the parts as soon as I could. Again, apologies,

Chris
