[size=4]This show is now in place of the Gold Coast VW show that was held at the Marina behind Dreamworld...not too sure why it isn't still on
going...maybe the Marina Management or the VW show couldn't get the carpark...but anyway this has been renamed & relocated to the Mudgereerba

More info relating to the Gold Coast Dub Club Show and Swap will be posted on this forum and on our club website soon.
New date, new location but same format and same club hosting the show.

This is a NEW Show to be held at a NEW venue
Ross of GCVD Club and Jack at GCVD were approached first and foremost. As the venue and date were in doubt, due to the demise of Riviera, we took on
the task of organising a NEW show. the above have been approached to be part of it
The organisation of a Show takes a lot of time and effort, we had to jump in as time was running out to get the advertising in place and ensure the
future of a 'Gold Coast' Show.
We were lucky to obtain an available weekend at the Showground at such short notice
The Run to The Sun is not "in place" of the Gold Coast Show, but is filling a gap which was left.
We are working on ways to make this a fantastic day out for the whole family.
A Timetable of activities will be posted soon, its a different format to any other show
All VW's welcome, Kombis, Beetles, Type 3's, KG's etc etc

Hi Ross, this is what everyone was informed. Everyone was told that the Gold Coast show wouldn't be happening this year and this is why Roy from The
Bus Stop was creating Run to the Sun to replace it, so we have all been misinformed. Run to the Sun is also the same name as another VW show in the
UK.
Glad to finally hear from you Ross as many people had heard nothing about the GC show despite asking many questions about it and being told by others
it wasn't happening. We were all told it had folded along with Riviera. Please let us know what's happening as the GC show is always a great day,
and we would love to support it still.
