TSCC Lapdash 18/10/2009

On the 18th, this Sunday, Tamworth Sporting Car Club will be running a lapdash at Oakburn Park approx 5k,s west of Tamworth.
For anyone interested you must be a member of a Cams affiliated club and hold a minimum L2s cams licence.
For those who wish to participate you can purchase a day membership to the club and a cams licence on the morning of the event.
The evnt will be run under cams rules so all the usual applys, long trousers and long sleeves, fire extinguisher good safe car.
Not sure on cost for the event but around $100.00 would be close.
Format consists of 3 flying laps of track, which is approx 750 mtrs long. Alot like Raliegh Raceway and Grafton kart track. You should get heaps of runs.
Personally i,ll be taking to the track to fine tune my car for set up for next years state round series.
pm me if your interested in competeing or say hello on Sunday.

Cheers Col

Hmmm safe car.

A Volvo or Subaru Outback would be perfect!

Don't let Larry have a drive, except in a Volvo.

Good luck Col.

Can you try the white chalk across the tyres for me before each run to see where it wears off?

A very good day was had by all today at Oakburn Park.
We all had 6 timed runs of 3 flying laps which equals 18 laps for only $75.00 entry fee.
I used the day to try & find a good hillclimb set up with my new tyres.
After a few adjustments with shocks & sway bars i ended the day 2.3 sec faster than ever before and 2nd fastest tin top of day.
A really good way to end the year, bring on 2010

Nooice

Nice one Col.

That's a fair chunk of time on such a short course. You've had virtually no seat-time either.

Your right Dave,
Maybe a short dyno session to confirm a couple of engine settings.

Cheers Col
