Does a Superbeetle bonnet fit a 68?
Pardon my ignorance here but was just wondering as from a picture they both have the Vents in the top of the bonnet.

No, the body is wider at the strut tops on both s/bug models.

Yup - pretty much, providing it has the right bonnet/script on it still !!!
Super Bugs have a slightly curved windscreen, steel dash and struts. L Bugs have a REALLY curved screen, plastic "bumped" dash and struts.

Hi
If You put a 1302S super next to a NON Super beetle you will see the HUGE difference...
the later 1303s with wrap around windscreen doesn't have the vents in the bonnet...
again.. VERY different..
1968 to 1974 NON super bonnets the same-
also the 1976 Beetle bonnet is also the same...
Supers are Different up to the door hunges...
then all the same... [or similar]
Front guards are also different....
cheers
LEE
Easiest way to tell a 1302S from a NON Super..
the Supers boot handle/catch is a long way from the bumper bar... Lee
