L Bug panels
Hi all
wondering if any one can give me some advice about panel interchangeability for my 1974 L bug.
looking to get some spare panels etc to undertake some some rust repair
are bettle gaurds and doors interchangeable from standard beetle to superbug ?
I know the bonnet is different

rear guards are the same
Front guards are 1302 ( S Bugs) or 1303 ( L bugs ) only
Pretty sure all late model doors will fit
All late model engine lids will fit

the differences with doors are cosmetic but yes all 68 on doors fit
the 70 on doors have the chrome strips about 10mm higher and the 73 on doors use different style arm rest mounts
