I was not aware of the Porsche - Auto Union connection, this was a very good read.

I have been reading now for a few issues and it's good to see some content on original cars and VW history, maybe I am in a minority but that is the only reason I'd buy a VW magazine.

thanks

Just got my mag this morning. Excellent as always :dork:
But i have to agree with the young 17yo asking for 'pin up's' or as I call them 'posters'. I remember there used to be a pull out section in the centre of the mag that usually had a nice photo/poster of the car that featured on the front cover of the magazine. I collected these posters when i first started buying the mag and was disappointed when it was not continued. The few posters that i did collect are hanging on my bedroom wall. Im sure no one in the VWMA fraternity would be saddened if these posters were continued again from next year/issue!

And also did anyone also spot the picture of guy bending over in the 'vintage vee dub' advertisement lol. What's that all about?? hahah
