There are only 4 male mcquinn's in Australia and 2 female mcquinn's and there are all my family. My ancestors have been in Australia for generations but there are only 4 males and 2 females at the moment. There are alot of Walshs in the vw scene im not sure why but they all must be related lol. I have a vw T-shirt that says bugs are best and it was designed by a walsh (in 1987 i think)

Maybe I need to get my brother (drives a Jetta, but used to have a baja) and my wife (has a Bora, used to have a Mk 3 VR6 Golf) to register on here. That would be 2 more Walshes.

My eldest daughter (has a NB, used to have a 74L bug) married a Pilgri (he has a Passat, used to have a Mk 3 Golf, and 2 different beetles before that), so that is one less Walsh.

One of my other brothers had a Kombi camper for many years (one of his sons now has a Mk 4 GTI Golf, and his partner talked to me week before last about buying a deisel Caddy), and my sister used to be with a bloke who had a Kombi.

Of course, my dad had the first beetle in Port Macquarie, so VWs are quite entrenched on our family.
