Beetle Crisis


There is a show on one of the new foxtel Chanels discovery turbo, it's a show about 2 guys that restore a 71 super bug that they bought for 150 pound, and have 5000 pound to restore it in 5 months to get to le bug in Belgium. It's on at 9.00pm next Sunday on Discovery Turbo.

You can buy this on DVD from the UK, so don't worry if you missed it. There's also another one where they do a split Kombi camper.

Do an Ebay search on 'VW Crisis'.

also if you search 'wheeler dealers' on youtube there is a T3 that is vamped up and a rotten bug turned into a beach buggy!

I spent an hour or so watching it on youtube yesterday. I thought it was brilliant!
Gave me some much needed enthusiasm again to get cracking on my projects.

Its a crisis that people have to restore a 71 bug:lol:.I thought bugs manufactured after 66 were only good for 1600 tp engine and gearbox donors:lol:Thats what i use them for!

i watched the whole series in one sitting and i work night shift and i didnt get any sleep and worked for 14 hours with no sleep... dedication to the beetle
