Spare parts

Hello everyone!

I was wondering if anyone knows where I could get some spare parts for a 73 super beetle within Perth. I have looked at Internet sites, however am not sure if the parts they are offering are original and new!

Thanks for any help

Sorry
I don't know of any VW shops in the WA..

I buy from Queensland mostly [Mick Motors], but I buy ebay parts from all over Australia & the USA...

Send the ebay seller an email - ask the seller a question -

and ask if the parts are New or Used...

there are NEW VW parts on there all the time...

cheers

LEE

Hi superbug73, I got a 73 L bug, just licensed a week ago, I live in Albany and got parts from John Cruickshank, vee dub shop, Osborne Park, good service and has most things, rebuilds bugs himself so is cluey. Also got parts from members of this forum, that's probably the most satisfying way and ebay has been a good source too. I got bits (new) for my motor from VW shops over east and have been happy with that as well. European parts in Clapham st. Cannington also good for bits, got some glass there. Have also sourced some bits here in Albany through the local rag and a local wrecker here even had a front mudguard hanging on a wall which had been there for many years 'till I snapped it up! The W.A. vee dub club is worth joining, they have classifieds in their mag. and you can put a wanted ad in there for nix, local Perth. The bottom line is there are many ways of getting your bits and that's the fun of doin' up a VW:yes:
