clutch choice?
Hi guys,
Just wanting some opinions on getting a new clutch for my baja....
I currently have a stock clutch, 1300 swinger box, with my 1916cc with kads, Running 31" desert duelers. It has slipped from the day i put it in new.
But not always. Just most of the time. Sometimes it grabs good but most of the time not so good.
I am now running a 1600 kombi box IRS, same tyres, engine.
My engine has no great horsepower, only about 63 with the big wheels on maybe 68-70 with normal size tyres...
My question is, should a stock clutch kit be sufficiant?
or should i get a kennedy stage 1 clutch kit?
Any opinions would be fantastic.
Cheers
Mick.

Going by the hp estimate a good (new) stock should be fine, assuming flywheel depths are correctly set up for proper clamp and no oil leaks.
