Campmobile Roof Racks

Has anyone found a set of roof racks high enough to clear a campmobile pop top?
I want to get , find, make a set so i can carry sea kayaks on my bus.
If anyone has already been there itmay save me a bit of time.
Regards

PS The bus had her maiden voyage last weekend and now has the nickname "Val".
Thats because my missus had to take 2 Valium to knock herself out and get a better nights sleep than the first night. Ha ha!!!!!
Seems we ain't as skinny as we used to be and the bed is no wider than a single in reality....
We have re-introduced "spooning" into our relationship.....

Hi, I would think that conventional cross-bar style gutter mounted roof racks would have to be customised to give you the extra height you need. My Kombi is a factory Supru and the fibreglass roof is around 150 mm taller than the steel roof when folded down, remembering the roof vent! I can't tell from your little pic whether yours is a Sopru too. Trakka conversions of the '70s used a lower-profile roof, while Swagman roofs were a bit higher and squarer than Soprus.

Here is one alternative that could avoid unsightly regular roofracks - these would adhere directly to the fibreglass roof by suction and could easily be removed when you aren't carrying canoes:

I don't reckon i would trust those suction gadgets with 2 25-30kg sea kayaks on board.
My sun has a pair of fairly high racks on his econovan and i reckon they would go close i just haven't tried them yet.
the Kombi is a genuine Sopru conversion.
Just as a matter of interest, we thee sold through Volksie dealers or did you have to buy them off Sopru?
