Rare taura D sports beetle???
Looking at a beetle on ebay wich stated that the whale tale and four outlet exhaust are not modifacations but original.ebay item number is
170430955236(sorry dont know how to post links)so i asked the seller if it was factory,the reply was that yes it was from the factory its called a
Taura D sports and only 100 was imported into australia now have i
missed something or has someone really fed the seller a whole lot of bull*hit.

can we hound the "special" people that claim to have something amazing which is in reality a hunk of junk, just thinking of this as well as the one
1303steve mentioned... theres at least 100 people on here that would confidently know their originals from the... well not, so perhaps about that many
email queries would make them understand, just a thought

Have you considered the irony here? Of all VW's that had holden tail light donors, 90% of them have probably been thrown back into the blast furnace

What's the problem?
I've seen several beetles with factory whale tails. You ask the dicks that own them... 
How many original convertibles have you seen on ebay that are nothing more than a hot axe job.
There are those of us who know, & those who don't. You can't help but laugh though.
