More Tin Work

Hi guys, is there any tinwork missing from the top, on the left their is a spare nut which looks like something screws into that and the underneath pics, well there must be something missing on the right, maybe like the piece oin the left. Then is there meant to be the gap on the two bottom pics.

The top pic I think you mean the little piece near the xhaust, used to complete the surround around the manifold heat riser.

The gap beside the lower sleds is because the heater box used to fill the side, dont worry or fill depending on your exhaust system.

RH is missing the same as the black piece on the other side (last pic)

your also missing the lower drivers side tin but left one is there (black)

bolt hole in the breast plate infront of the pulley and on the pulley tin to the left is where the pulley cover bolts on

most of them have been chucked over the years cos they have to be removed everytime the fan belt is swapped

Excellent Guys

Joel, the pulley cover, only two bolts, one near the lid release and the one too the left of the pulley. I also noticed that you dont have the heater pipes for the inlet manifold (yours are twins). Are those heater pipes needed now in Aust. Im in Wodonga and we dont get many real cold mornings anymore, was thinking of blocking them and taking them out of the inlet manifold and welding it up, just to clean up the engine bay.

it will be alot more drivable even in summer if you leave the preheat connected and get alot better fuel economy too

also without them theres nothing supporting the carb and manifold except the rubber manifold boots so it rocks around alot and will evenutally cause the boots to tear and create some nice air leaks and shitty running
