Seat Advice

Hi Guys

What would you guys do if you had a 73 beetle and no front seats and no mounts on the floor.

Get the mounts and weld em to the floor and put in the original.

Or make up some brackets and put the SAAS seats in I have in the shed.

Big issue is that it isnt registered and needs a roadworthy, some may pick up the made seat base.

you wil require the services of an engineer i think as you will be fitting complete new mounts.
also where are you as each state is different.

Im in Vic, I do know I will need an engineer if I fit my own brackets. But if I just weld in new originals then I dont as its just a repair and not a modification.
