WTB BNE - Urethane early beetle spring plate bushes


Hi Guys
as above, after i am after some round spring plate bushes to suit an a pre 60 beetle.
Tried Mick Motors and Leon's but they dont have any. Appreciate it if anyone in Brisbane has some or knows any shops stocking them.

Rod should have some with last shipment. I can get you some or go direct.

They're a really nice consistancy and the last few I've used have not been noisey.

Fulcrum Suspension sells them, p/no. SPF0942K with only a foot note asking that it is a 46mm shaft diameter. They are a Super-Pro brand.

Spring plate bushes


I have a set that I bought for a Super Beetle but they are the wrong size,if you give me the dimensions I can check if these will fit.$25 plus postage.
I am on the Central Coast NSW.

Wilderness - thank you that would have been a good option but the shaft measures 48.3mm.

cairog9 - as above the shaft measures 48.3mm but i have not pulled them out to determine the outer dia

For those in the know, does 48.3 sound right or do i have a non-standard spring plate. CIP1 indicates that the 1 7/8in were for later model beetles... it is hard for me to tell because the rubbers in their are that shagged

Measure the spring plate not the old bush.

The Superpro used to be too hard and were as noisey as .....
