VW original Road tests
Gday,
I have just picked up 300 early hot rod and wheels magazines from 1958 to 1975.....all mint condition and are a great read.....
The first few I have gone thru have the original tests on the 1965 1600 fastback & bug, 1600 tl fast back 1966, stick shift 1500 bug 1968, 4 car
wagon comparo vw 1600, fiat 124, renault 16, and mazda 1500, 1972 vw 1300 bug..............to name a few.
Out side of the vdubs they are a great read and what we could have had in the past to what they are worth now is insane.....
If you are interested in any of the vw tests I will scan and put up on the forum....just reply and I will get the model etc that you are after..and
even if not vw let me know the car model etc and I can see if its in the collection...
Attached is a sample

Regards
Hamish

I have the 56 issue with the beetle road test. The best thing about these old mags are the ads.
