Correct distributor for Solex 32-34PDSIT2,3 carbs
I'm in conversation with some guys in the States about replacing the distributor on my 1977 2L bus. There seems to be some concern that the
distributor I took out of the engine (<---JFUD4 0 231 168 005 021 905 205 P : label on back) is not the right distributor for the twin
carbies (32-34PDSIT2,3). Seems there's quite a variation in the dizzie-carbie combination on busses sold around the world. They reckon a 205P dizzie
should be on a fuel-injected bus.
Does anyone have a similar setup to mine, or perhaps know anything about this carbie-dizzie combination? Thanks.

Well, they are not incorrect, but not right either. 021905205P is the correct 2L dizzy for your bus. It was also on injected buses too. The yanks only
have info for injected 2L motors as they did not have the carbed motors over there. Of more concern is the carbs you have....what is the stamping
under the float bowl of each carb?
